Happy Pi Day

Happy Pi Day everyone! Today we celebrate one of our more beloved math holidays, Pi Day, a chance for all of us to enjoy the theory of Pi. For those of you who do not know, Pi is referred to as the ratio of the circumference to the diameter in a circle. The theory of Pi can be traced back to Archimedes who calculated Pi for the first time. Pi Equation.JPG

In addition to being a ratio for circumference, and diameter, Pi is also an infinite number. Many students attempt to memorize Pi to see how far they can get in reciting the correct sequence. How many numbers are you able to memorize in the sequence? Below are the first 30 numbers for Pi. If you want to go further than what I have listed, be sure to check out Pi Day for more! Share how many numbers you are able to recite for Pi!
